I have had a new area added to the game. Hopefully you'll all go and take a look and figure out all there is to figure out. It should well be worth your while.

There's one very hard kill who probably isn't worth the effort unless you like her toys. There is two other possible kills dependent on certain factors that I'll leave you to figure out but can be of pretty much any level. So yes, big kills, small kills, loot I'm exceptionally proud of and more tricks and traps than you can shake a big stick at Pris

I had a quick look through this area last nite...very quick now. I killed Flaw and got 2.6k exp. She was fairly easy:) I brought her corpse to the summon room and did some stuff....killed a demon. anyone who hasn't solved this area, have ye figured out what to do with the anvil/hammer? I'll come back and explore more soon.

Excerpt from the Adventurer's board...
Title: 'A personal request from me.' // Pris <750> Sun Nov 16 10:07:59 2003
As you can probably tell from my previous post, I have just completed a new area and it is now part of the realm. The two line post I used to announced it doesn't really do the excitement I feel justice. I'm really, really, really excited by this area. I'm wondering if it would be possible to ask a favour from everyone? This area is not a quest, therefore, legally you are allowed to discuss it all you want. I was wondering if I could ask people to try and refrain from overly explaining this area to others? Some people will get things faster than others but I'd just rather not see any get it sthingy-fed to them. I've really tried to provide a high level of self-satisfaction with this area and I'd like to see as many people benefit from it as possible. Thank you everyone. I hope you enjoy it as much as I'm hoping you will.
Yours, Pris
Now, I know this is basically a big research forum to share info with each other... and Pris has been nice enough to post stuff on here about her areas. Does she want us to hold off on the info sharing about her new area for a while, until it's common knowledge on the mud what's there and how to get it?? Or can we feel free to post everything about it now? *nudge Pris*

yup i read this and I didn't "overly explain" what I did:) That's why i asked ppl who havnt completed this area yet! just tryin to get ppl to try and solve it, and post vague guidelines on what they have found so far(without out posting exact commands or giving away too much). i'm guessing, from what Pris says, that there is quite a lot of stuff to figure out in this area

I don't mind discussion on these boards about the area at all. The kind of discussions that irritate me are exactly the same kinds that I've seen you guys get irritated about in these forums. Just the kind of player who expects the exact commands and locations of every kill or cool piece of eq without bothering to find out the slightest thing about the area they're going to. So yeah, I certainly don't mind you guys discussing which of the armours your prefer or which ones you've found or the various merits of the multitude of weapons on skilling or bashing. Or the cool trick you can do with a rogue or whether the various incidental magical items in the area are worth getting. There's a lot in there and I don't mind seeing people discuss how they've used it or if they think they are worth going for. The players that use this forum are the ones doing the exploration and leg work to figure it all out anyway. You should be able to enjoy the benefits.
Yours, Pris

Actually, I'll even help you out a bit 'cause I was looking at the area through the eyes of my mortal and yeah, that anvil is a major lure. Don't spend too much time on it though. Hopefully one day it'll all make sense to everyone but at the moment it's just there for style, it's not actually useful for anything. Sorry. I know it looks really tempting.
