last check in probably before the storm. currently i'm in Thibodaux, Louisiana. I left New Orleans due to natural concerns. As of now, 930 pm central time, the latest reports are that we will have between 3-10 feet of water. Most of the storm tracks have the eye of the storm or the northeastern quadrant making a beeline course to me. I'll be at my dad's house, which is elevated about 5 feet and is a two story house. We should be ok with the water. We are well stocked enough with bottled water and food to be ok with any flooding. Unfortunately, the house is in the middle of a canefield. Wind and tornados are a major, major concern.
the majority of weather reports and stations are saying this could be a storm of the century. please keep me and my friends/family in your prayers, as it is looking like we may lose everything. i'm pretty rattled nervewise, been outside all day boarding up my dad's, friend's, neighbor's houses. just took a shower and ate for the first time today. god yall, i'm worried.

Been checking www.wunderground.com/blog/JeffMasters/show.html, ya man gives a good explaination of the storm and the changes. It goes without saying, but hopefully the worst of the storm misses you and your family. Same to anyone else in the area from AA if there's any!

Some fierce winds on a couple of feeds to Thibodaux, but looks like the structures of the buildings seem to be holding steady.
Hope you and your family making out ok, Lung.
