Taking suggestions on the abilities of a shiny ring in an area idea of mine. It can be a unique, a semi-unique, or non-unique. I'm open to just about anything that isn't already in the game in some form. Something new. - This doesn't mean the suggestions will get in. - This doesn't mean the area idea will get in. Discuss.

Yes, when the shiny ring is worn by a necro with revenant as undead, the revenant transforms back into old pre-balanced revenants. During the changing process, the computer will also beeps the sound effects that the cartoon Transformers make when they transformed.
To make it balanced, the transformation should take at least 30 seconds whereby the necro has to sniff and touch the ring during this time. The player will already be listening to the tune, so that will satisfy the listen requirements.
Alternatively, the ring could just sell for 300 coins and not have any other special effects.

A pair of semi-uniques, one red, one blue, and I guess just some POS for the non unique version. Which one loads is random, or make two NPCs to hold them.
Red, when worn, negates your natural sps regeneration and boosts your natural hps regen (not accounting for relaxed mind), blue does the same thing, but backwards.

shiny rings are bad and will unbalance the whole game. only elite "powerplayer like teh lung4r!!1!" will be able to use it, making it unfair to wizards and new players.
