METAL QUALITY ARMOUR EVAL AT 'FINE' lead 1 -- very poor zinc 2 -- poor tin 3 -- serviceable gold 3 -- serviceable copper 3 -- serviceable iron 3 -- serviceable platinum 3 -- serviceable bronze 4 -- serviceable brass 4 -- serviceable silver 4 -- serviceable electrum 4 -- serviceable steel 5 -- adequate orichalcum 6 -- fine mithril 7 -- very good adamantite 7 -- very good trillian 8 -- absolutely perfect
When a ficer forges a weapon, that weapon is 'perfectly suited' for the skill of the player it's forged for. As far as I can tell, how well they are forged determines the damage rating of the weapon (ie. less than average, average, greater) with very fine being greater than average damage. The metal/alloy you use seems to effect the skill range+the damage of the weapon... make a vf steel warhammer and a vf trillian warhammer and compare the evaluations.

MITHRIL AND TRILLIAN WARHAMMERS SEEM A LOT LIGHTER THAN STEEL, IMO.

MITHRIL AND TRILLIAN WARHAMMERS SEEM A LOT LIGHTER THAN STEEL, IMO. TYPING IN ALL CAPS MAKES YOUR POSTS MORE IMPORTANT, IMO.

Oh, yeah, and posting something that "seems" to be, when it's absolutely possible (and EASY...) to test it, so you'd know if your wild-ass guess is correct or not.... is kinda silly. (And last time I checked, a very fine steel warhammer and a very fine trillian warhammer and a very fine mithril warhammer all seemed to be the same weigh....... )

They are indeed all the same weight. Also on a side note Ficers can now make pikes (2 handed spears) and 2 handed flail. Both are very nice. Pike i find is great for mid lvl whoevers that are just waiting to get savage spears. Skewers nicely at 50 and only gets better.
