Is working in teams on Gaius stuff legal? I think working together on Quests is ok, so I'm guessing Gaius stuff is ok too? Curious on how it all works, if legal....I'm looking for a team member ;D

I've never seen a straight answer as to the legality of 'teaming up' to do Gaius. I know that I've helped about 10 people wiz via gaius parties. But who knows the 'official' standpoint on it.

Since some of the mini quests, locations of items and things to do being described on these proboards give you EXPloration points, asking the legaility of double teaming seems funny here.
As many people as possible can help as long as noone has already obtained that EXP point with that character or an ALT, and as you have no way of knowing normally when you hit an EXP point actually governing this far too gray and abstract area woudl be impossible, ie just expect to be banished on a whim like normal

"Players who have discovered exploration points may not point out to others where they found them." Those are the only rules pertaining to exploration points. The stuff you regurgitated applies to quests only.

?? isn't that what i said??
my regurgitation maps exactly what you said, the rules apply for quests and EXP points, except most of the time you have no way of knowing you've gained an EXP point.

The text I quoted is the -only- part of the rules that applies to exploration. Two or more people could explore together whether they'd done the points or not, not many people know when they've done the point or not. You seemed to be suggesting that if one person triggered a point with their alt or a previous alt, they couldn't group together to explore with someone else who hadn't.
Does that make better sense?

NO it doesnt, gaius points and quests are exactly the same with regards to LAW, as brought up a thousand times before and most recently re-iterated by Malire during the town meeting, which i suggest you read ( posted on Senate board ).
SO what im 'suggesting' is your 'INCORRECT'

I'd just like to interject an extremely valid point, that should put an end to this debate once and for all: - - - = = = * * * PIGGY!!! * * * = = = - - -

Did you mean: ------------------------------------------------------------ Paldin says: yes Gaius info is the same as quest info Malire says: Yes, Gaius == quest info Algol says: so you can't tell people how to ...errhangon Paldin says: well everywhere has a gaius point really.... but if your sending someone to go ... err... write on the senate board to get a gaius point that is then illegal ------------------------------------------------------------ That says nothing about exploration points requiring two already-experienced players or two inexperienced to "gaius" together like you keep suggesting. It only refers to the law where you can't point an exploration point out to someone else regardless of the experience of either. Gaiusing, in essence, cannot allow two or more players to help each other regardless of their past experience. This is what I gather from the rules. The first paragraph in the rules talks specifically about questing and actually relaxes the law of "no helping whatsoever" and allows people with certain critera to help each other in questing. In gaiusing, there should be no helping at all. That's what I read from the law, and it's quite apparent to anyone who isn't trying to read what they want from the laws. And who isn't confused by law. =) Tempest bows to the almighty piggy.

Man you love talking in circles, not sure how we got here from my statement that people on these boards explain how to get EXP points indirecyly. Gaius = Quest, will do for me. NOt really sure what im,we, anyone is arguing here, certainly not the experiened player comment?
And your telling me that when an area comes into the game , hoards of people do not swarm it, and ask, well ive got this it does this what have you done etc etc. This is effectively teaming up agin in an indirect way, again i'll state the area is 'grey' as its practically impossible to enforce because gaius points are granted without notification. But whatever, my throwaway comment has caused me to post more than i have in playing AA in my lifetime so time to stop.
And Calvin, quiet *slap*
