Anyone notice much difference? I made a dragonskin cap thinking that dragonskin should be the best but when i got the cap evaled it came up as servicable. I shoulda checked the quality of the pelt, maybe the better the pelt the better the armour?

Well, if you managed to get one to eval as servicable, then that is indeed a (small) change. Last I checked (couple-few eons ago) no ranger armour was better than poor. I managed to make an a couple exellent cloaks which evaled poor....and a couple nearly perfect cloaks, which I haven't had evaled. What was the decription of your cap? I'm guessing at least 'nearly perfect'. I was using a maxxed helf, I assume you were too.

Hmmm, I managed to eval a 'nearly perfect' piece and it still was poor....was your cap description 'ap' ? I know someone who did a fairly thourough run-through with the various pelt pieces right after the change and he couldn't find anything new (insofar as eval).

Its been forever since I had a ranger alt, so I can't remember how easy it was to make 'fine' pieces. I'm at the point where most pouches and other containers I make are 'fine' but I am still stuck with thin, poor, thick collars to stick on my wolf. Was it like this before, or have these new changes just made it completely worthless to even bother with making any sort of armour until you are higher level? Even then it doesn't seem very worth it?

collars were always a pain to make 'fine' ones out of
ps. even 'a perfect dragonskin collar' evals as adequate, so you'll never make a decent one anyway
