greeting. i am a relaively new player to AA, but i used to play back in the 90s. could someone explain, briefly, what has changed about this class? i know about the bridge building, and the new wolves... the sort of things i'm speaking of arent found in the help files. such as new good areas for rangers, and new good weapons. i play Skyre on AA most mornings (usa.est), send me a tell if you see me.

*gasp* This can only be a weak attempt to get more information out of me concerning the area . Very well. I accept: Permanent tubing combined with a permanent fire. That's gotta be a bonus for rangers. Never been fuzzy slaying with a few pieces of 'platemail of the woods'? Never worked spear and been fuzzy slaying with a trident of attunement? Here's what everyones favourite ranger, Thorn has to say about them: "weapons of attunement are the most awesome weapons I've ever seen..ever." All classes get something out of Flaw. Everyone's a winner. *mgrin* Pris

To get the eq, you can spend all day killing there, and never get the stuff YOU want.

How does one get "weapons of attunement"? If it's through exploration, then I'll just grit my teeth and explore more. But if it's through summoning and killing demons, what level corpse is required? I got 86 spear and I'm eager to try that trident.

Okay, weapons of attument are kinda random, go to flaw, say ravel, enter the gate she conjures you're at the grandfater goblin, wait for the new character to walk in, and they might have a weapon of attument, you'll need to get a mage to id it to find out what it is, also how you get the neutral mast and sympathy powders.

Thanks Tollie! I got a well used trident of poison. Two-handed spear. Evaled excellent for me. Also went back and got a well used flail of cold and a well used foil of cold. Dunno how those evaled. It's cool how the NPC's that emerge are of different classes. I kinda wish that they were a little more challenging. That necromancer only lived longed enough to cast one lifesteal. And the cleric didnt cast wrath or heal itself. And the rogue didn't trip. Or should I be careful of what I wish for?

So any feedback on these weapons of attunement? What's the skinny on them?
Also, how is the Platemail of the Woods? Does it give advantages only to rangers?

I've never seen any wraths/healing from the cleric or more than a couple-3 lifesteals, not that hard but fun, bugs the heck out of me when someone summons one and it doesn't have a mask or whatever they're going for and you summon the gate, so check the room before you get flaw to summon a gate. As far as the attunmuent weapons, whatever you kill with it first it will do extra damage to creatures of that type from then on, those attument weapons are great imo for raising like 40-70 skills against the unicorns in harkee just so you can get the extra damage against them, did that with my fighter and they went pretty fast.

Do these attunement weapons come in all forms? I've so far dug up the trident and the falchion. Any 2ha, or longswords of these babies?
