Can you wave a wand then read a scroll in the same combat? Effectively getting two spell casts?

I would be willing to bet that if you made an artificer alt, made a wand, penned a scroll, and then went into combat...you could likely answer that question yourself.

Nope, can't wave, read or throw in the same round.

Okay not in the same round. What about wave wand then read scroll. That would be different rounds. I am thinking you probably can, would be the same as wave wand then reading a healing scroll. They should both fire right? Or do you have to wait for one to fire before you can do the other ie, wave want and wait for it to fire then read scroll?

For scrolls and wands, you have to wait. If you're reading a scroll, you can't wave a wand until it fires. And visa versa.
You CAN throw in between the off rounds where you're still reading or waving.

You could answer all of the questions on this forum other than maybe 'who is the best xyz' by just doing the task. It doesn't mean you shouldn't ask!

There's a difference, though, between things like "How do I get the Dragon Platemail?" (which can be figured out on your own, but is hellaciously hard) and asking about something that would take less than 5 minutes of actual play time to discover yourself.

If it takes you five minutes to get to level 12 and build a damage wand, then I'm guessing asking on the forum would be redundant. For most people it'll probably take about as much time as working out how to get dragon platemail.

Yes, but at the end of those "5 minutes" you'd have a level 12 with a damage wand.... not just dragon platemail.... stfu

Why you would want to bother using scrolls at all when you have a wand is beyond me in the first place. A wand is like an m-16 and a scroll is like a pea-shooter; you can blast 60 damage every other round with a wand and maybe do 40 once every 3-4 with a scroll.
Only use for scrolls as a spellficer is as a backup or for thraxi when you haven't made an ice wand and you have emptied your primary attack wands.

Scroll of Blade Turn - No wand replicates. Scroll of Mental Recharge - Nothing else is comparable and no wand replicates. Scroll of Recall - I prefer amulet of spellcraft, during combat. Another amulet adds weight so, scrolls of teleportation have a place. If I'm not going to wear the amulet full-time, why set myself up for the weight and concentration burden?
