Efficiency runs should take no help at all. I know that mine didn't and I am sure that Sinister's didn't as well. Lunger is a bit of a creampuff when it comes to stuff like this so he probably had all sorts of help...

I've heard some people do things like get a friend to stockpile a bunch of pots and fix the beast while the efficiency char kills it. Or make a speedwalk that does a lot of things in a certain area that give exp, and log on, do that, and log off for many days before actually playing the char. My efficiency char, Wub, reached 19 in about 14 hours with one death, with no help. Was never intending to make him an efficiency char though until that point. By 17 hours he was at 2.3 mil, so you know, necros are overpowered Didn't beat Sinister but beat Ceasar in the end. My favorite start to a char so far has been: Someone ran a flaghunt with the highest cost, so I made a new char, quickly made enough cash for a game slate, joined the game, and found the flag. Boom, 25k on a fresh new alt! To put it in perspective though in terms of the topic, my first char to reach 19 took 2 years! Second 2 months, third 1 month. Wub took about a week. My last char took 3 days. It's just something you get better at with experience, not something you can (or should!) rush.

if all you do is kill the beast for the first 10 levels, you don't need cash help

But you will need some kind of drug to keep you from killing yourself from boredom.

Lunger is a bit of a creampuff when it comes to stuff like this so he probably had all sorts of help... all i had with caesar was startup cash donated by machine, and borrowed the int boosters at low levels in order to get fetch etc sooner. if i wouldn't have died due to my epic connection at the time, i would've probably topped out about 325k/hr. i was breaking even at about 340k, and stacked npc's at the time weren't nearly what they were today, nor the amount of high level kills. i always projected the 900ish run would've been around 1.2-1.3M with the stacks and npc's nowadays. With the higher level kills, and higher level rots, it probably would've been higher. But then again, i did have a fix/purge cleric and a haste mage. getting 900 back then required it. i'd love to learn the new 9ks, and attempt a run, but that'd take too much effort and time invested. kudos to those finally able to beat my run though, even if it is with suped up npc's and higher powered spells etc. karrot, did you stop and taste/smell/search/etc each kill after you were done with it?
