This is more of a question for posterity.
Anyone know how the pin and bracelet from Illarin works? Its supposed to allow some sort of teleportation. Might as well post on this board how you can get it.

never heard of that one before! I suppose it teleports you to scythe camp if u get it to work? Does "insert pin into bracelet" work? Or maybe it only works for elves.

you get it from illarin's desk, gotta be glowing, then hold and wear pin on one char and bracelet on the other guy press something on the pin and it makes a door to the holder of the bracelet, or is it press something on the bracelet and it goes to the pin... only used once. i forget.

I was messing about with the bracelet/pin last nite and while wearing both, I "push leaf" on the bracelet and the elf sergeant/3 warriors arrived! Must try out what Tuga was saying about it though.

exa pin It is a small leaf shaped pin with a small red jewel inset into it. The jewel seems to be pulsing with an inner light. There is some writing on the back of the pin. 162:154> exa bracelet It is a green bracelet that is pulsing slowly with a soft glow. There is an intricate leaf pattern inscribed on the bracelet. One of the leaves looks like it can be pressed. There seems to be some writing on the bracelet. 162:154> read writing The writing is in a strange language. press leave As your press the leaf, the bracelet blazes brightly for a moment, then turns dull. A shimmering blue door silently arises from the ground. 162:154> l You are in a hall which is on the second floor of the castle. The walls and floor are made of grey stone. Mounted on the wall is a golden torch which provides soft light. Obvious directions are: north, east, west. A shimmering blue door. A cairn of stones with a bloody scythe banner. 162:154> enter door You step through the door... Knight's hall (s,e) A shimmering blue door. The revenant of Paladin. Eviltear the evolutionary exception of the Scythe (good). Vivi the successful idol figure of the Scythe (evil). A cairn of stones with a bloody scythe banner. vivi had the pin worn btw thats how to do it and what it does

Whenever I get this, instead of giving it to someone, I just drop the pin inside my Scythe room and keep the bracelet. That way if something messy happens and myself and/or my partymates need to get the hell out of dodge quick-like, just press leaf and jump to my room.

Only useable once, so it wouldn't make much sense giving it to Shanni.

I thought it was usable over and over?

Ya thought wrong... Cuz if it was usable more than once, and you could give it to decker, think about it... you could give 2 bracelets to your eq basher. Give pin1 to your tank, give pin2 to decker. Basher gets full, finishes kill, press leaf on bracelet 1, pop in to decker, sell, press leaf on button 2, pop back to tank... keep killing. Not that -- I -- see anything wrong with this system working... *grin* But I'm thinking the HWIC might.
