*grin* Well, it lets the tank know how much coins they've made since they logged in. You type score session, and you know exactly how many coins you're down, from buying heals in the party, buying start-up eq, etc. Most of the time, I consider eq costs to be part of my operating cost, and only tell them how much coins I'm down from buying heals. That makes it unfair to the tank. If a basher logs in, he buys 2 sacks/packs, a weapon, and a pipe/cigar/gum. Done. 3-4k total, if he gets all the stuff he needs. A tank logs in, buys the same stuff, plus a shield, a helmet, platemail, etc, and full load of potions, chickers, and knigs to use for the beginning of the party. That shit adds up, and I usually spend around 10-15k in the first 2 minutes I log in as a tank. *shrug* It's just easier to hit score session, and say "I'm down 22k" than to worry about keeping track. Of course, you still kinda have to keep track, because if you go linkdead at any point during the party, your score session resets.

It's no wonder how I don't seem to make money fast with any of my tanks. I played for a while during the day, slowly getting my eq, idling, getting another piece, idling, working, etc... not really going nuts on heals... few pots here, kniggets, chickers, parkraz... nothing extreme, or so I thought, and then blasted out little over a mill exp party. And when I was done, I hit score session... and was negative 89k. *grin*
