Ok... so those are a partial list of my pet peeves on AA. My biggest one is probably the Andeli gate guard getting killed, followed by someone stealing a kill I'm working on... then puffy killers... *ponder* The wizards one, what I mean is the wizards that when you question something, they give you that " Well, *cough* I'm a ---Wizard---, so I really DO know more than you about what you're talking about. Because, well, I've seen the code to something, and even though I haven't actually PLAYED a mortal in 7 years, I really do know the theory behind the code better than you, so I can make a more informed decision on what's best for you and the rest of the players. What? You've been a hardcore player for 11 years, and have over 40 alts with combined experience over 140 million? So? I coded a miniquest, AND I'm a World assistant!!! So of COURSE I know more than you!" (No, I'm not referring to any specific wizard... ) The rest just bug me. Oh!!! And I can't forget people that kill my piggy! I know I forgot a few, but with 8 choices, you're kind of limited. So I'm leaving it to you to fill in the rest. Anyways... I'm curious to see what things on AA bug the crap out of the rest of you. *grin*

Wow, kill stealing is the only thing on that list that annoys me. Clearly, we have different priorities when playing.

That's the only thing on the list... but is kill stealing the only thing on AA that bugs you? *ponder*

I've talked about this before in other places but my major, number 1, serious piss-me-off if wizards who create stuff that mortals have no way of figuring out how they work. There should ALWAYS be some kind of testing process or method that a mortal can utilise to determine the power/secret of an object. Oh, if if the object doesn't have a power/secret to begin with WELL WHY THE HELL DID YOU MAKE IT!! I think I better stop now. Pris

1st: Players who piss me, an alt of mine or pisses a cleric that purges me a lot, off.
Distant 2nd: Removal of Behemoth Quest
Every player has died in AA once they get on my $hitlist.
I'm just waiting for Calvin to piss me off now.

My biggest peeve is bad typing. Aside from people like, ironically enough, Peavey, 'cause playing in a whole other language is an incredible skill.
I also hated that thing where pipes got wet when it rained. No more healing when moving, and during heavy rain no more healing while just standing around. Seriously aggravating for shifters.
I also hate it on the testmud when people make the most bizarre bug reports. Things like, if a wizard coded a super 9k llama of death, people would shout 'hey, I found a BUG in the llama! come look!'. And you'd zoom over to the llama to enquire what this incredible bug is that is taking away valuable time. 'Look at this! If I'm wearing a mask, the death llama still spits poison on my cheek!', the tester will say, beaming. They'll do this many times a day, often with exactly the same typographical error wearing different masks, to see if all masks behave this way. They'll get increasingly excited as each mask passes, then write an enourmous bug report of their adventures in llamaland. Gah.
Oh, also, newbies who have to get their questions answered at least six times before the answer sinks in. These days when I'm talking to newbies I just copy and paste my response in a few times to speed up the process. *twiddle*
Finally, when you get insulted for using different weapons from the 'suggested' weapons. I used to dual wield stanhokes on my revs because it kinda looks like a grim Edward Scissorhands (and the damage messages on stanhokes are fantastic). The damage wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't unholy like dual arrows. The taggers that I took on would actually insult my weapon choice. Not a good idea when you're tagging. I figure a fair bit of the fun in this game is doing things like taking on dragons in a tux. Just 'cause something isn't efficient doesn't make it a waste.

Sinister, take a deep breath. He didn't really mean that. He was just pointing out that just because something isn't efficient, it isn't a -complete- waste. Um. Yeah. So, like, don't explode, ok?

My biggest pet peeve on AA is not knowing enough to be Calvin. You know how bad we all want to be Calvin.
That and I don't know how to party well. Or solo well. Blain's biggest run was 113k solo as a necro. *twiddle*
Bah, I just suck. I'll stick to coding. At least -that- I can do.
Speaking of coding, I had an awesome idea for my shield and then I found out that it can't be done without getting Arp to throw some code into the mudlib. So it won't be happening in this lifetime, I'm sure.
