What is with this mysterious, animate, talking pot I keep hearing about? It seems to be a nasty chap, what with all the name calling of poor Mr. Kettle.

I reread my post and it seems more hostile than I intended. Calvin ARE one of the few ppl that actually knows something about AA, and aren't (like 99%) just copying what others do.
Way to many ppl doesn't do anything, but copying others. "You will never get ahead, if you follow the footsteps of others". Like when using a weapons, they look up on the internet, uses EXACTLY the weapon there for EXACTLY the skill listed there. (even though a 12 dex cleric and a 17 dex elf fighter by far don't need to wield same weapons at same skill)
I used to do pretty well, and I still could have bashers trying to tell me what I should do. That I pulled more xp than they ever could dream of didn't matter, I didn't do it the way THEY had heard it should be done.
Ooh, and my point again, Calvin isn't the biggest idiot on AA!! (that is a vain attept of a compliment, I don't really know the guy)

My pally's an orc... If I ever hit high enough to give 2W a shot, I'll get back to you on my findings. Although I understand there are more orc paladins...

I've found new sport at level 11/12ish. Experiment to see when you can start taking down Ogres near ranger camp without burning too many heals (I can take them down with just parky and meds... not the huge ones, but some of the loners.)
your first ogre gets you 200 profit, then each after that is 250.
It should be noted that your horse can help you in this so you should give it some horseshoes (Since your horse leads the ogres rarely attack your horse anyway). The horse is worth it, it actually hits pretty hard. Now if only they could go indoors...

ok, BORED... eating lunch... reading old threads... just figured I'd add to the last comment here bout ogres. Turning in Ogre/giant scalps to Elinom actually counts as a paladin mission. So, like, screw ladders caps compasses and soup... you can actually KILL stuff to get thru your pallywank missions now!!
(and yeah, I know a lotta people know this already, but I just found out a few weeks ago, so *tongue* )
