People say sylv pups are the best for making into wolves, so I assume they're 5 wis... Any other suggestions? (Haven't gotten my first wolfie yet, gonna try at level 3.)
Edit: Wandering around that area now, and all I see are sylv wolfs... are the pups a special occurence?

I found one possible location, but there was a mommy wolf that didn't want me goin' in. Are all 3 located togehter? If not, then I can search about elsewhere as well, as I'm not big enough to take that mommy down.

I wouldn't bother searching anywhere else than the cave. *peer* My advice, either get a friend with a big alt (assuming you have friends, and one of them has a big alt *duck*), and have him nuke the momma wolf... or you can type "who class", and start fingering the rangers who are logged in and send tells to the higher lvls asking for help. You'll most likely find one willing to help, since they've all been there.

I assume it's sneaking around her somehow, because I've given her everything I found in the area. She didn't eat any of it. There's a little place up top but I can't fit in either...
I was never too good at figuring the little things out.
Anyway, I'll keep looking (Haven't really got much else to do).
Any hints? *peer*
Scratch that, turns out I'm too big for the crevice *twiddle* guess I'll have to ask for help with the mommy.
Still, at the beginning of the thread, there's this talk about stats and armour... Do you have to keep the wolf in shape, or does it just stay at the level that you raise an ability to? Also, how quickly does it bond/when until it survives boots and logons? Do you have to send it away before you log off to get it to return?

Ya know, it's funny. I read these posts on times for wolves, and shifter times, and I think to myself... How can those people stand to waste all that time waiting for their wolf to grow/form to advance?? Wow.
Then I think about the time I've put into 2weap skill.
*sigh*
Reminds me of my friend once pointing out the obvious to me on a fishing trip. It's raining, it's 5:30am, we've got our rain gear and fishing stuff in the back, and we're rollin down the highway. As we go past a golf course, I looked out the window, astonished to see a bunch of people already loading up their golf carts. I looked over at my buddy and said "Holy Schmidt! Can you believe those freaks? Who the hell would wake up this freakin early to go out and stand around in the rain???"
My buddy just looked over at me, straight faced, and raised his eyebrow. I was like, uh... yeah.... But, but... we're going fishing!!! That's different!!! *snicker*
To this day, whenever we drive past golfers on the way to a fishing hole, we look at each other and say "Crazy bastards" "Yep, certifiable" "Don't they know enough to stay out of the rain" "Those nutty golfers need to seek counselling" *grin*
Oh, and did I mention yesterday was the opening day of Trout season, and I'm going on a fishing trip tomorrow morning??? *B O U N C E !!! *

Look up my town on Google. "Wewahitchka Florida" It's famous for its dead lakes full of wonderful fishing, turkey, deer, and wild pig hunting, too. I know rednecks! I live around them! --Aurac
