hehe... nice run bro.... And yeah, you could probably bust over 2mil pretty easily... just set up a few more ddoors, get a hastemage to permahaste the shit out of you right before ya start, etc... hehehe... all this prep time and stuff is starting to sound like all of the runs of old, with 13 people and a midget helping. I guess I got used to doing piggificer runs... those 800k/hr+ runs were actually solo... only help I got was the medicine a ranger made me, and some purges at monks midway through from Tollie. And that was before Valdrath and Sydiemath and Velox... Makes me wonder what I could do with Piggi if I did a cheeserun with a cleric tagging and carrying heals and mage doors and shit..... I think a pally might actually be able to get more exp/hr, since he can smiterape velox, sydie and valdrath.... where a ficer would have to chip away at them, and hope they brought enough fire scrolls...

i'm quite sure you can do alot better than this, but i'm not so sure there are many out there who could. only help i had during the run was purges and transporting heals from nine's room to sydie, then to valdrath and back to nine's room, he left most of them behind though then he transported them to velox which was of no help, since velox didn't respawn like he was supposed to. *snap* of course he purged me whenever possible and he was great moral support and someone to chat to. nine didn't follow me around during the run cept for towards the end when I ran out of stuff to kill and he helped me get to ceranyx. "all this prep time and stuff is starting to sound like all of the runs of old, with 13 people and a midget helping" yeah the setup was kind of crazy, but it was only intended for valdrath, i actually thought this setup was going to be needed to kill him. i had no clue what the fight would be like and i sure as hell wasn't going to risk anything. around 25 mins before the fight i got a tip about a log on proboards so i read it and it was helpful. it was getting cold resist gear, aog+hoh and gauntlets of torran that took time. rest of the time i spent idling at desert doctor getting herbs and picking berries when i had a chance. sure, i had alot of people helping me getting medicine but i didn't spend more than half of it and all the murkies was of no use. so i didn't actually use any more help than you did on your run. and the preparation time was probably not much longer. but the challenge sure is on. who can get the most amount of exp in one hour? prepare as much as you like, you seem to always be logged in anyway and you sure got the bank account for it get all the help you can get, i sure as hell will give you a hand. you're the man behind alot of my success on aa, learned heaps from you are you really willing to accept that me, drue, kayne, lunger and soon whiteknight are - according to records - better than you at getting the most exp/hour? i will go for a real run as soon as i can get my cash up a bit. i made sure no one would feel like they weren't getting payed good for the medicine, which probably was good for future reference. this "real" run won't differ alot from the last one, but I wont be getting aog+hoh, i'll go for star armour instead so i'll take more damage so i can use medicine faster and do more damage and i'll be able to carry more. my starting gear will be: The belt of the giant The Star Armour The Starblade A garnet ring A magic surcoat or A black robe A hookah (lit) A pouch of tabaq A bunch of gums around 150 bottles of medicine around 150 dark red potions around 10 murkies all the small delicious berries I can grab If you know the mud as good as I think you do, there's plenty of ways to match a paladins damage, or at least be close, when counting the overall outgoing damage throughout the run. It does of course require alot more key pounding and will sure as hell give you aching forearms.

Well, my recent experience of killing Valdrath was far and away the most fun I've had in AA that I can remember. Even though on the first attempt Valdrath killed me (goodbye level 28) I was not deterred. Maxed my stats and got straight back into him (minus the extra meds that had filled my inventory, and blocked the murkies when needed, what a noob!) The fight was such a rush, I was so busy trying desperatly to keep my HP and not die I was making lotsa stupid mistakes as, as Castro can attest to Would have cracked the 2m mark had I not died (had 320k when I started Vally) Will have to give it another go after AAlympics winds down as I suspect there wont be much stacked NPCs over those weekends *wink*

Sydiemath follows you when you leave the room if you are fighting her, does Valdrath also follow?
