Well, Kayne and Drue soloed him... several parties have killed him. But it's usually large parties, not a three-man...

Ah, here's the log people were referencing in past entries.
Aside from the details, which was quite informative, all I have to say is, Lanstro really could have used a bottlebag and a magic stone.

Next time you kill him again, could you post a log?
And can anyone guessimate how much damage each one of drue's smites did?

I would guestimate each of his smites doing ~80-90 hp. So I think you would be matching it if not doing more with 1 rot+1 hunga if you got thrown weapon maxed.

80-90, I must be out of touch, I actually expected 100+ per smite with new levels and such with all those crazy 1 mil pally runs.
Time to bring Sinister out of retirement, and drop off the eff list.
Got the computer, cable coming in on saturday. Be prepared for an onslaught of rookies questions.

Muhahaha.... Sinister hittin AA again.... ffear. And just fyi, the last time I did a pathetic attempt at a solo run with Calvin, ( ~1.2 mill exp/hr) I started the run by killing Valdy... then Velox... then Thraxi high guards, then a bunch of large thunts.... and Valdy was a huge pita, but doable. If you have a pile of hungas and medicine, that is....

yeah it's all about the setup... he can throw off a 120+hp lightning now and then, sometimes 2 in a row so you have to be pretty quick on the medicine applyage, or murky quaffage. i usually don't use murkies on him though, since every hp i drop is a sp i can gain for smitage. and i need to smite him every round since he regenerates incredibly fast. you have to dish out the highest possible amount of damage each round, or you wouldn't get him to a worse shape than slightly hurt.
on telnet without the (typing apply medicine alias and holding enter) he would be much tougher.
will be cool to see what a good necro could do these days with the new kills in play. i think you should be able to maintain #1 on eff list without too much of a hassle, at least til you start running low on cash. but you could probably combine really high exp sessions (500-600k / hour) for a big coin cost with lower exp sessions and coin making.
the problem i find when playing a h-elf necro with lich is that i can never carry enough loot. i actually started making my lich wear containers cause i absolutely hate having to go sell in the middle of an area. if the coins weren't so important for an efficient necro, i would have left it behind but they are so i couldn't.
