I wanted to make an orc invoker, mainly because it's a poor race with a poor spell lineup. i think he'd be a very good PK guy, what do you all think?

Orcs make very good PK mages, but I'd question the choice of invocation. Invokers have a rather poor set of in-school spells. The ones that are useful for PK (ln, ams) can be gotten out of school. Your main PK spells will probably be acid arrow and vemon spit, maybe haste, spider legs, web shield, etc. Orc drowgar would probably be the best for a PK mage, as you'll be using most of their spells anyway. Grab whatever else you need out of school.

Tower of the Magi (u,e) A shimmering blue door. 142:161> enter door As you step through the door, you can feel your spellbook vibrate. A spacious, shelf-lined room (no exits) A shimmering blue door. 142:161> -<Namril>- See ya, Garak! l You are in a spacious, airy room; the arched ceiling rises two percha above you. You see no windows, torches, nor other source of light, yet the room seems to be preternaturally lit with soft yet luminous light. One entire wall is covered with bookshelves made of some dark, polished wood. Long tables are laid in rows with benches on either side. Some comfortable high-backed chairs are scattered around the edges of the room. Uh... ok. Sorry. Start at xroads. (That little Crossroads place in Tantallon, where you log in at... like, south, 6 east from the inn place.) Then go to the room northeast of Duendar (The Elfdar guild place... where the treehuggers and woodguild hang out drinking tea.) That's 9 west, 4 south, 16 west, 6 south, 1 east, 1 south. Then you need to go just like you're heading for Achrya's garden seed in cup, plant seed place... ya know, where you get the Medallion of Night from that mean drow chick? Anyways... before you go the 1 west, southwest... that room.... it's 2 east, 2 south, 1 southeast. Oh, to get to there from Duendar, you go 1 east, 1 south, 4 east, 11 south. Right.... so.... You have to enter this cleft thingie... so type enter cleft. Then there's this hole you have to go into... Yep. Enter hole! Good guess!! Then you're gonna start falling. It's kinda scary, but don't worry... you'll bump into a few things, but then you land on this web walkway. It's kindof springie, I guess, cuz you really don't get hurt. But you're lying down, right, so you have to stand up. Then go east as far as you can until you hit the mean spider. You might have to go northeast or southeast before you go east, so make sure to look around where you land. This part kind of sucks... but it's not -too- hard. You have to kill the spider. *shudder* Big nasty thing. Annnnyways. You kill that spider, then go eastlike again, till you have to go down. When you get to the bottom, you have to go all the way east, and then south. There's a leather eggshell thing there, and a pile of broken eggs and stuff... it's kinda messy, but oh well, I guess spiders aren't good housekeepers. If you search through that pile of eggshells and stuff, you'll find a whole egg. Then you go back north and west one... and south. There's another mean spider, but you don't have to kill this one!!! *cheer* You do have to move the curtain thingie... to get into the room to the south. There's ANOTHER spider dude there, but he's ok if you tell him you're a spy!!! (I know it's tricky and hard to figure out, but say "spy" here.) He'll let you past to go west. Then, you guessed it... ANOTHER SPIDER!!!! *faint* The horror, I tell ya!! So she stops you again... but if you give her the egg, she'll let you past!!11 Woo woo! Then you're in Venletta's room, but you don't wanna mess with her. She's a big jerk. If you go one west... you'll see a pedestal thingie. Yeah. So that like, has a tome on it and stuff, like in the mage hall. Yeah. Type "Study" or something. *nod* *pat*

Yes, but there's a way to get into without any combat. I'm pretty sure it's been posted on this board somewhere before, but I'm too lazy to track it down now. Just hunt around. Or you can check out FunkyFlea's website and check the maps section under "Drowgar". Read carefully and you can probably figure it out.

Yep. When you get there. type "study"... or maybe "study drowgar". Gives ya a pretty list to read. *nod* (That's my pleasant way of saying "What the fuck, do ya want us to spoonfeed the entire fucking game to ya? I just gave you the exact fucking directions to get there... and now you're asking for someone to post the list that you'd get yourself if you just followed the directions? Can you BE any more fucking lazy?? *bspit*" But, of course, I'm trying to be a nicer, gentler Calvin these days. )
