Can't say i regularly carry one of these about, as on average I prolly only use between 20-30 'bottles' of heals an hour, and to be honest I'm not so picky about my exp/hr as i used to be. However, it does prove particularly useful in scenarios where your desperate for sp regen when other options have run out. 12 coins per hp/sp with no limit seems a total bargain. The only thing that stops me using it all the time is the spam factor involved im afraid. My fingers get sore enough with regular play, without using stacks I'm afraid it just takes too much time/effort

Spam?? ... Stacks?? My aliases are:
alias a dump alias re release
So, are we talking anout the same item, the magical bottlebag? I mean, what do you do with the bottles now? for every drop bottle or eat bottle command, that's a command that could have been used to dump a bottle into the bottlebag. Which means you you use 2-6 (because you use 20-30 bottles) extra commands per hour (to release the healing) because the dump alias replaces the drop bottle one.
Once again personally I don't mind being one of the few using it. I'm just surprised. It's definitely old school. The room and the bottlebag were the biggest non-social benefits in the scythe way back in 1992-3 , and not necessarily in that order. I snicker and roll my eyes in real life everytime I get thrown a dig my way. I will say it started to fall out of use when it was downgraded from 2 hp/sp per bottle to 1.

anyone got an eval on the velox armour... and does it "come together" like ironwood/ morr pally set? cos i was playing around with it the other day... killed the bastard 3 times and he kept dropping platemail robe and greaves... and they all evalled pretty poorly.. was wondering it the eval increased dramatically when the whole set is worn.

Nope its completely random, sometimes you'll get it with 2 kills, other times it takes 6. Very annoying.

Or 13, if you're as unlucky (and/or insane enough to keep trying) as Druenarrii... My personal worst was 6 times... best was 3 times.... *shrug* If you get WAY saintly before you start, and hit-n-run smiterape... with a buncha medicine and mentals.... it's not TOO bad. *peer*

It must be enough EXP/Cash to be worth it to keep going. Plus Drue only logs in 1-2 times a week at most, and when he does, you can expect the best party of the week So he must have a high-standard for his knightly attire.

The exp is ok... but the cash sucks.... It's one of the hardest kills, with the second highest HP, and it takes a LOT of heals to bring him down solo. My guess is, when Drue takes him out with the intention of getting the armour, he's probably got a ton of medicine that someone made for him... which takes cost out of the equation. That, and Drue's just..... well........ not right in the head? Things that normal players would think was completely nuts, bordering on suicidal, are.... hmm... I think the best term is "amusing", for Drue. Want a good example? Finger him. "Prince Druenarrii the Heroic Knight and Champion of the Rose (good) <c256 m12 vx87 d53 103mx>" c256 is him killing Cerynax the dragon plate guy 256 times.... m12 is him killing the guy at the end of the Whysper Geyser Greenhaven quest 12 times...(majorly annoying set up to get to him...) vx87 is Velox.. 87 times..... d53........ *shudder* is how many exp he's lost to nice chats he's had with Lars, after some insanely dangerous act went south...... (I think....... I HOPE it's not 53 deaths!!!) and the 103mx is 103million exp. I've probably got it all backwards, but either way, like I said.... the boy just ain't right!! And yeah, parties with Drue tend to be good experiences all around!

love bashing for the fr00t... nothing better than bashing, using scorps, reading scrolls, sac'ing corpses, getting eq, throwing a boomer, chatting on party/geo/guild/game lines, and sending massive amounts of carrot messages to the tank... nothing better!

He seems to play sporadically, but when he does, he goes all out, as if he's making up for lost time. He's on EST or something, and he was tanking a party I was in, until like an hour before he had to be at work. I wasn't doing much better, at 3-4 hours before work when we ended off, but still... He just gets a good party started and there's no stopping him.
